Japonica Humboldtiana (published since 1997) is the yearbook of the Mori Ôgai Memorial Hall, Centre of Japanese Language and Culture at Berlin Humboldt University. Featuring articles from the areas of Japanese history, history of thought as well as cultural history, it documents the academic work pursued at the Humboldt Centre. It also includes external contributions from scholars with a shared thematic orientation. Special emphasis is given to philological work, including annotated translations of pre-modern materials. Japonica Humboldtiana addresses scholars in the fi elds of Japanese and comparative studies.
