The volumes contain contributions that deal with historical research questions on the writing of the history of book trade and publishing companies on the one hand, and current questions of book and media industry that critically reflect the challenges of this industry on the other hand.
Therefore, topics range from questions of book and media research, the writing of book and publishing history, book design and typography to analyzing current strategies of companies and marketing, and to impacts of progressive digitalization in international book markets.
