Japonica Humboldtiana, published since 1997 (formerly the yearbook of Mori Ôgai Memorial Hall, Berlin Humboldt University) is an international journal of Japanese studies and documents academic work on the areas of Japanese history, history of thought as well as cultural history. A special emphasis is given to philological work, including annotated translations of pre-modern materials. The journal also includes external contributions from scholars with a shared thematic orientation.
