The „Forschungen zu spätantiken Residenzen“ is an international, interdisciplinary series in classical studies. Its objective is to present publications which, in their entirety, illuminate multiperspectively the phenomenon of late antique residences: organisational structure, administrative procedure and representation of the “Court” as well as architecture, infrastructure and social structure of the residence and its surrounding area in order to analyse multiperspectively the phenomenon on the basis of written sources and archaeological findings.
