The Philippika series provides a platform for publications from all areas of Studies of Antiquity. Contributions in German, English, French and Italian from all sub-disciplines of Classical Studies are welcome (Egyptology, Ancient History, Ancient Near East, Archaeology, Epigraphy, Historical Information Technology, Classical Philology, Numismatics, Papyrology, Legal History, History of Reception). The series is open to representatives of the aforementioned disciplines on a national and an international level. Thus, the Philippika series intends to provide a contribution to the enhancement of interdisciplinary contacts in archaeological research and, furthermore, to document its wide spectrum today. All contributions submitted undergo a review process designed to ensure a constant high level of academic excellence in accordance with international standards (peer-review).
