The sarcophagus tomb of Pȝ-dj-n=j-ȝs.t, who was an overseer of the storage department and seal keeper of the king of Lower Egypt, dates from the Late Period and it is located south of the Pyramid of Unas in Saqqara, Egypt. The Sarcophagus Tomb of Padiniset in Saqqara presents Pȝ-dj-n=j-ȝs.t’ tomb in its entirety. The funerary texts in the burial chamber are reproduced in transliteration, translation, and commentary. The text arrangement of the spells within Pȝ-dj-n=j-ȝs.t’s tomb is discussed in detail including reflections on text transmission from the Old Kingdom to the Late Period. Additionally, the architecture of the tomb, the sarcophagi, and the scribal alterations within the spells are presented. It is complemented by new digital drawings of the hieroglyphs, which for the first time enable paleography, a glossary, and detailed indices.
