Archaeological publications dealing with Nabataean studies were not able to differentiate between Nabataean and non-Nabataean objects, especially the unpainted ware excavated at Nabataean sites. Furthermore, most publications have concentrated on producing a typological study and have offered comparatively broad dating evidences or even completely neglected the chronological sequence of finds. The significance of the present publication is, therefore, to provide scholars and field archaeologists who deal with Nabataean studies with a clear stratigraphy and well stratified objects and could be considered, therefore, an essential “guide-book” for their future investigations.
