Kodex, yearbook of the „Internationale Buchwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft“ pursues two goals: On the one hand, it claims to place and describe the development of the medium “book” in different contexts with strong links to current times in an interdisciplinary way, viewing the future of the book as well as its present. On the other hand, the concern of the yearbook is to contribute to internationalizing research discussions in book science by expanding their subject areas beyond the European frame of reference.
