Large exhibitions at the Herzog August Library (HAB) are usually the result of research projects conducted by scholars active in the library. Frequently they have researched many years on the respective topic and want to present the results of their research to a larger public in an appealing way. These exhibitions are each accompanied by an elaborately designed catalogue. The results of smaller exhibitions are published in the series Wolfenbütteler Hefte.
