Ägyptologische Abhandlungen
Edited by Christian Leitz and Martin Andreas Stadler
Ägyptologische Abhandlungen began with the publication of Erich Lüddeckens’ habilitation thesis, Ägyptische Eheverträge [Egyptian marriage contracts]. Over the course of more than 50 years, the series has become one of the leading forums for publishing monographs on any subject in Egyptology, from Prehistoric times to the Roman period, from Egyptian archaeology to philology and Egyptian history in general and cultural history, art history, and the history of religion of Ancient Egypt in particular. Since 2014, Ägyptologische Abhandlungen have been edited by Christian Leitz (Tübingen) and Martin Andreas Stadler (Würzburg). They aim at preserving this traditionally wide profile, focusing on monographs on Ancient Egypt as opposed to edited volumes. Beinlich, Horst
