The Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft is the main publication organ of German Oriental studies; its range also includes the Far East and Africa. The articles and reviews, mostly written in German, English and French, deal, among other topics, with the respective cultures, their languages and their histories. Topics regarding the present and the further development of the various traditions of the Orient are paid attention to as well.
