Abhandlungen für die Kunde des Morgenlandes
Edited by Roland Steiner on behalf of the German Oriental Society
Abhandlungen für die Kunde des Morgenlandes (AKM) is the monograph series of the German Oriental Society (DMG). The series presents monographic studies of history, languages, literatures and culture of the countries in the Near, Middle and Far East, in India and Southeast Asia and in Africa. It is the purpose and the basic concern of the series to present philological and historical explorations, based on primary written sources of these regions, characterizing these regions in antiquity and in modern times. DMG invites all scholars in the national and international scientific community to contribute their studies to the series AKM. Proposed manuscripts will be reviewed.
